Q:  Where do your grapes come from?
A:
All the grapes are grown on in the red clay soil and old-vine vineyards on the Thomas and Vaughan estate.  The estate designation is important in that we can ensure quality from the beginning to the end. It is important to have the best quality fruit for making great wines.

Q:  When should I drink the wine I am purchasing today?
A:  Some wines benefit from further aging but it depends on how you are cellaring the wine.  Wines should be stored in a cool dry dark area.  Heat and sunlight will over time damage you wine.  Most of our wines that are available for purchase in our shop are ready to be enjoyed now.

Q:  How long should I keep the wine after I open it?
A:  Oxygen will spoil wine over time.  Most table wines will be best drunk within a couple days of opening.  Sweeter wines like Icewine will last much longer if refrigerated after opening.

Q:  I notice that you use artificial corks. Are they better?
A:  We use synthetic corks in all of our products as we find they are a better closure.  Cork taint is a problem in real cork which causes spoilage.  Synthetic corks are cleaner and they dispense easy with no cork bits floating into the wine.

Q:  Where can I get your wines?
A:  Our wines can be purchased through our shop or by ordering them through our web site or by phone.  Some of our products are available through our LCBO Vintage outlets in Ontario and a variety of restaurants in Ontario and Buffalo New York.
